JRAd consulting, Inc. and Tactile Systems, Inc. are pleased to announce the release of a tool designed to improve their respective products on the Newton MessagePad family of hand-held computers. The tool is a plug-in for the patient management solution, Palmedic, that incorprates and expands upon the note writing capabilities of Tactile SystemsÕ Transcriptionist. The collaborative effort allows the creation of clinical documentation by taking data the user has entered into Palmedic, including but not limited to medications, problem lists, lab reports, and patient demographics, and integrating it with Transcriptionist's already robust note writing capabilities. This allows for near-automatic documentation of clinical encounters.
The companies invite you to visit the web site describing the plug-in (http://www.jrad.com/Palmedic/transcriptionistNote.html), download demo versions of both programs, and try out the combination for yourself.
In celebration of this collaboration, a promotional package including Palmedic, Transcriptionist, and the Transcriptionist note plug-in is being offered at the discount price of US$300, a savings of US$150. Call 800-5-Newton or 303-841-1114 to order.
