This archive is a repository for Transcriptionist templates that focus on the interaction between Transcriptionist and Palmedic. Following this description page is the directory for the archive. Selecting one of the files from the directory will open that template as a text file within your browser (depending on the browser). You may then select "Save" from the File menu in order to save the template to your computer.
Visit Tactile Systems' web site for the utility (called TSExchange) to transfer templates (as text files) from your desktop to your Newton(R) and back.
It has been said that the templates within this archive "do not seem complete." It is important to remember that Palmedic has been designed specifically to allow one to work the way they usually work- not in a way dictated by the program. Thus, these templates are meant to be the basic framework by which one sees how to write a Transcriptionist template using Palmedic demographics, and the awesome utility therein. One can then build on these creating templates that ultimately write notes with the same language, style, and format in which he or she would normally write.
I will gladly accept templates created or edited by users for inclusion in this archive. Templates dealing with specific HPI type situations are greatly appreciated in order to broaden the scope of this template archive. All disciplines are encouraged to submit their creations.
